The Island House
A four-bedroom villa where a single walnut language runs from the kitchen island through every wardrobe.
The story
The owners had lived abroad and wanted the calm coordination of a European home, adapted for Goan light and humidity. We drew the whole house as one set so the walnut in the kitchen island answers the walnut in the bedrooms.
The challenge
Keeping a single timber tone consistent across humidity-sensitive rooms meant careful material selection and sealing, not just matching a swatch.
